Question: Pinging sound when going uphill
I have a Volvo 940 1995 When driving with high RPM (around 4000) especially when AC is on especially when going uphill there is a pinging (sound almost like someone is drumming on my engine with spoons). I also feel that the engine is very weak when going uphill (131,000 mile). My mechanic says there is nothing wrong with the engine, but I feel he is missing something. I would appreciate any advice
